leaving my WIC appointment, and even they are giving me grief about my babies weight😖 Geez man can't she just be petite?…

My doctor tells me my daughter is underweight for her height. But she tells me as long as she's growing and healthy she's okay.

I was the same way I guess my doctor accused my parents of not feeding me when i was younger I was long and sinky and I still am

@mrm83015 I mean I get it, for a 7 month old she's tiny. but I am feeding her! it's not like I'm not. she's growing in height, hitting her milestones. ugh my doc had us see a GI for her weight. got a follow up with him in 2 weeks, but I'm sure everything will be normal.

@chunkymonkey9115 omg they better not accuse me of that!😡 Lord knows I feed my child, and I want her to be healthy and strong. she's just a slow gainer I think. she's happy and acts like a normal baby! and now that she's more active her weight gain may be even slower. 😥 I hate the way they make me feel at these appointments, like I'm doing something wrong 😕

don't feel bad I guess I had to go to a specialist and she told my parents that I am perfectly healthy every baby is different and she will gain the weight but she will do it when she wants to lol

maybe keep a feeding log to show them? I suggest at least 8 nursing sessions....food before 1 is just for fun :)

@suddymaya well she sleeps through the night, so that's why her feedings have lowered. today for some reason she felt like nursing a bit more lol. she normally eats every 2-3 hrs
