My son is 5 weeks old and is having trouble with formula. Someone told me that his digestive system is still developing so that's why he's so gassy. But he seems to be so gassy that he's in pain, he has a hard time sleeping at night sometimes, tonight is one of those nights. I feel so bad, what should I do? I'm calling the doctor in the morning.

@theinkedmommy, I've tried Similac advance, Gerber good start sensitive and Similac alimentum. And I gave him gas drops 20 minutes ago. :(

Try burping him extra, he may not be getting all the air bubbles out of his stomach. Also try putting a few drops of the gas drops IN the bottle after its been mixed, it will rid the milk of all the extra air and it is safe to do. You can even try doing bicycles with his legs to try and help him relieve the air on his belly.

@ilyric, he won't be able to taste the drops in the bottle will he? I tried putting gripe water in his bottle once and he wouldn't take it
