I know I may get some grief for this but my son is almost 3 and refuses to potty train. I've tried everything I can think of and nothing is working. Any advice or tips for potty training little boys?

I am determined and driven for success FAILURE isn't an option for me. I potty trained my oldest at 9 months old. My 2 middle son's were more difficult they were between 18 months and 2 years old. My baby boy was showing interest in potty training, I decided to buy him a potty chair. Potty training tips 1.) Don't rush your child 2.)Don't yell at your child 3.) Don't punish your child for having accidents 4.) Don't give you child candy 5.) Don't compare other children to your child 6.) Do praise your child 7.) Clap your hands when your child goes to the potty. 8.)Take your child every 15-30 minutes to the potty 9.)Don't criticize your child 10.) I don't recommend pull ups but I don't bash mothers who decided to use them. 11.) Remember potty training is not taught in one day you have to be determined to potty train your child. Potty Training *Updated* Why is there such a push to do it so early?
Anybody body start potty training at 1? Like starting with once a day going the same time every day ? To get them on schedule ?? I was 🤔 maybe like before bed to put her on the potty , since I work early in the am and usually don’t have time . Edit: training a girl
Questions for older kids: when did ya'll start potty training? Is before 18 months to soon or no? How long did it take to get them potty trained?

It's helped tremendously now he's just too busy body to remember to go poop lol

My son is 4 and we still have some issues...he will go pee in the potty but not poop sometimes and it's frustrating. However I started using coins as a reward when I first starting potty training. Anytime he went pee he got a penny and anytime he went poop on the potty he got a nickel...I told him once he got to a certain line (vase had a line) we could go get a toy
