yes my son chews on everything his clothes jackets blankets my hood strings anything that soothes him @foreveryoung247
I didn't see you wrote that he bites threw them. My son would chew them ... Children with autism need the oral fixation ... It comforts them.
I had to. Screw what anyone else says. My son needed to for a year longer and it worked out for us. He was/is behind in development so naturally he needed the same comforts a 1 year old needed even though he was 2 going on 3. Don't beat yourself up about it just let him and when the time comes he will be ready and it will be so much easier.
yes it's really hard cause I know change is too much for him like any difference in his routine is hell but thank you @foreveryoung247
my old is 2 and just been diagnosed which makes a whole lot of sense with a lot now but I'm having such a hard time getting him off sippy cups and bottles and the bobo but he bites right thru them and starts having shut downs when I try to take them away he didn't sleep for two days when I took the bobo away the first time @mrsrodgersof4
Me, my oldest son was diagnosed with it at the age of 4.
I took him to a developmental pedictrician and his nurses and doctors notice he has signs he's very behind my 10 month old is ahead in all stages
