Today was suppose to be my baby shower for my first born and im kinda bummed that nobody put forth an effort to actually make it happen.... everybody kept telling me not to do anything and that somebody was gonna give me one but i knew that wasnt the case 😒 i should have did my own like i started to. smh

me too girly @omricruz_mommy people are jus selfish in their own Lil world's but it's OK. I believe in karma and I'm jus gonna wait for it
@nessa_475, right!!! thats what i was told too! but nobody did anything... luckily i found all of his big ticket items brand new for under 50.00! I know that was a blessing from God and all of his little cloths and nick nack things i got at very good prices also. It just would have loved to have a celebration of his arrival.
my fam made a big deal about doing a registry for a baby shower and I was told I wasn't supposed to do it, come to find out no one did anything and when my mom finally asked me I told we couldn't due the three hr drive down bc of the cars acting up I asked if they would come up my way and she said, you know no one is gonna drive up there so I said ok well then jus forget it then. hubby and I have already spent over $500 on baby stuff and that's only a quarter of it. we still have more to buy and no body is helping. I've learned to not rely on anyone besides my husband since we are the only ones providing for the baby, even tho EVERYONE made a big deal about me being prego. its jus sad. but oh well. hubby and I will always make sure our son has was he needs.
@green7dusty, i would but im moving as soon as i have him which is y i thought my so called friends would pull thru for me but oh well. I guess it could b worst.
@megramirez, its ok i just thought i wouldnt be bothered by it once i saw nobody was actually doing anything but i guess it really did bother me
