I have a question for all moms/moms to be. Did you buy a bassinet and a crib or just a crib? Also if you did buy a bassinet was it worth it? I'm trying to decide if i want to get both or not. Thanks for your help
Bassinet or crib?... Hubby and I are discussing this now. I say crib because the baby will grow out of the bassinet fast. What are you mom getting?

so I have been debating on wether were gonna buy a crib. we have a bassinet that baby will sleep in along with sleeping with us at times. what are you mommies doing? crib, bassinet, pack and play, or a combination of these? I don't wanna spend money on a crib if the babg isn't even gonna be sleeping in it for a while

we have just a bassinet. no crib cuz she will be sleeping with us and/or in her bassinet by our bed. if we got a crib it would never be used. we may get a pack and play for when we are other ppls houses and need something for nap time.

I didn't use the crib for the first couple months we used a pack and play in our room we would also bring it out to the living room and if we take trips we still use it but it was nice when we did move our son to the crib in his room and my husband and I had our space back

I had a bassinet and crib with my first, and used the bassinet a total of a few days because my son wouldn't sleep in it. I used a crib or a pack and play for my second son, and I just bought a pack and play for my daughter. I decided not to spend the money on another bassinet. However to each their own. It really depends on the lifestyle and how your baby sleeps.

I'm using a Pack N Play. We will be getting a crib but won't put it up until we move.

I got a used bassinet and I'm going to buy a new crib just because babies grow fast and he will not fit in the bassinet for a long time

I have both , I will be using basinet until baby is 6 months and then she will sleep in her crib after that.

honestly I've never had a baby but I basically raised my sisters daughter (she had problems, hate to admit so she lived with me and my mom and my mom worked) but she wouldn't sleep in her crib for the first couple months & only with someone or in the bassinet but they grow so fast we were only able to use it for a couple months & then I transitioned her to the crib so we used both , but also had a pack n play to take to the park or over to people's houses for parties or dinners and what not . so honestly it depends on the baby and what you want
