I agree with @mrsmoore my sons father was abusive and each time I forgave him and it back it would get worse. He ended up trying to kill me. I haven't seen him since 2013 and I've never felt better!!! But I had the same feeling when he went to jail I felt bad but he hurt me (the mother of his child) that was his way of showing me he truly didn't care about me.

don't feel bad and don't go back be strong and don't show that you care that kills a man,work on you and baby on better your life and self he step out the relationship let him stay out you will find a man that sees your worth not only see but knows
