I wanted to have a gender reveal get together at first but now I just don't feel like it and I don't…

I want to have one too..but I think I will get to excited and tell everyone anyways :) lol

Well I was going to have one, but had to cancel it. I found out the gender at 20 weeks. was going to have a gender reveal party the weekend after so I would be 21 weeks. we started getting decorations and food and guessing games stuff like that together until them. we were going to take pictures for the invites.

@happymomma2211xox, @smiles2 yea I wanted to do something small with with just both of our immediate family members only like 10 people. And I was going to have my SO sister bake the cake and she would be the only person who knew. I wanted to share that special moment with every body but now, I don't feel like doing all the planning and coming up with games to play until we cut the cake and I don't want to wait to long because my mom and I are really anxious people. So at this point idk what I want to do. I just feel like I'm doing it by myself when I know people would help the day of. I feel like I want someone to say "hey I got it covered just show up" that's my lazy hormones talking. Ha

@desi720, yea I hear about not wanting to plan it all your self. I had a friend offer to throw me one, but some personal stuff came up so I canceled it :/ and I didn't want to plan it my self either. she would have been the only one to know what I was having me and my s/o and everyone else would have found out when I cut the cake or open a box of pink or blue baloons. but there don't have to be a lot of games. it's just a get together with lots of socializing and eatting really. lol. I was going to have a a guessing game like what they thought I was having, also I wanted everyone to sigh a onsie. stuff like that.

@smiles2, Ok I see that's a cute idea. I just enjoy being around family and I'm real family oriented.

@desi720, yes, me too. I was just going to have immediate family on both sides and a few close friend's, hang out eat some food and a cake

I got a balloon filled box from party city and just had my immediate family together for brunch. Simple, not much work or effort and just as memorable. I saw all of the cute ideas on pintrest but that was too much work for me. I decided to put all that effort, time, and money into the baby shower. Seem to have a lot more energy at the end of this second trimester to do so!

@heathbaby2016, exactly something simple maybe that's it. I was overwhelming myself with all those ideas on Pinterest that's the problem lol thanks

my ultrasound is tomorrow and we're having a reveal saturday...just doing cake nd simple decorations...nothing too crazy
