Warning this is a rant!:

so to try to keep this short I'll just jump my way into the question. Do you ever resent your husband/significant other/baby daddy for not helping up enough? I'm not a traditional minded person what so ever. before I became a mother I had always worked, didn't think house chores are for the woman to complete, and I stood up for my beliefs. now that I'm mom, I think I do everything to keep my house clean, family taken care of, work part time, and attend to every need that my daughter has(she has a gtube). my bf does nothing to help, except when I work. we also have a lazy roommate...so I clean his shit up too. I feel burnt out, stressed, resentful, sad....

I feel like, if I asked him for more help, he'd say "why, if I already worked all day and make more money?" am I a bad person/gf for being mad? all I want is a more engaged, helpful bf that gets it.

You're not alone girlfriend. I feel the same way too! I would love for my hubby to help without me asking him too.. He's getting better though but it was a complete disaster in the beginning and I was loosing it and I hated it and resented him.

need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.

do you... Clean up after your SO is done cooking? Or vice versa? DF was cooking and while he was cooking I unloaded the dish washer and hand washed the pot he had used and put dishes in the dish washer, so by the time he got his plate, dishes were done and left overs were in Tupperware on the counter just in case anyone wanted seconds and counters were wiped down. The room mate asked me why I do that, and I just say that's how I was raised. I always clean up after anyone cooks in the house, even after myself. I clean as I cook, so DF doesn't clean up because it's done before dinner is finished lol. But there's rare occasions where he'd be in the kitchen while I cook so he does help out with the cleaning since i cook during the day sometimes so we can heat it up when it's dinner time. I want everyone to get their first and seconds before I eat. My mom has taught me to always clean up after your spouse makes dinner, it's only fair. They put their effort into cooking, you should always help them out.

So since my husband and i seem to have issues Asking what we need of each other and when we do it it seems over whelming so I’ve decided once a month we ask each other for something we need either more emotional support , help around the house etc and we work on it and try to make each other happy by fulfilling the other persons need . So it’s not too overwhelming and we slowly change ourselves to fit the other persons needs .
