Also, this app is very unusual. It says "27 weeks and 7 days" when in all reality, you count day 7 as day 1 of the next week. I've never seen anything like it bit whatever @bentleesmom0617
That would be confusing because your OB is supposed to give you an estimated date. One estimated date. Not 3. Because you have an 80% chance of not delivering on your due date anyways. @bentleesmom0617 However, 40 weeks is equivalent to 10 months. You aren't pregnant for 10 months because there's those few weeks between the first day of your LMP and the day your egg implants. But that's how it's calculated to make things easier. Ask your doc what you're measuring at and for a specific due date. They should be able to provide you that.
@bentleesmom0617, Don't go by the charts. They are more inaccurate than helpful. As @madilynn16 said there are 4 weeks in every month. You calculate your due date by your LMP because you can't possibly know the exact day your egg implanted. Your doctor goes by the first day of your LMP. 28 weeks is the first day of month 7. I guarantee if you went to your doctor at 25 weeks and said you were 7 months pregnant, they'd correct you.
