Is anyone else doing a nurses basket? If so, what are you putting in it? I want to do one... I'm about to get on…

@ab, I called my L&D and she was like I can't believe you are thinking about us when you are about to have a baby... I told her I was doing 6 am and 6 pm things and I wanted to make sure that was about right... She said yes it's a lot of us but that should be enough

Your right the gesture is what's nice @nurseriri I think I'll make little bags like that photo all that stuff in those bags are only like a $1! How many bags do you make like 4 nurses right?

@8yearsapart, yes always remember both shifts. Cause sometimes us the night workers get left out and always label night and day shift. 😄😄

@rhonda.otero, we love getting cookies and snacks. Well my unit does.

@ab, sounds like my husband but I told him I wouldn't spend much and it's the least we can do since they are taking special care of our little one @nurseriri I think I'm going to do snacks, a nice pen, and maybe hand sanitizer and little nick nacks like that.. I know I loved getting snacks at work so that will be majority of my basket @8yearsapart right idk how many nurses I will have I think I'm going to do a basket of 6 for the am nurses and another 6 for the pm nurses @lun2016 go ahead :) wasn't my idea to steal lol

I'm glad you posted this, I need to work on something as a token since I just hit 36 weeks. I may not make a huge basket, but something to munch on.

@rhonda.otero, really nice of you and whatever it is they would be appreciated. We got them a thank you card and a fruit basket. @ab your husband is right but the little gestures as a nurse makes us feel appreciated. Not that you have to. For me a thank you and God bless you is just enough. 😊😊

Yeah I would drive myself crazy changing items and wasting money trying to figure out what to put in it. The one thing I'm learning(because I've been admitted for the past 2 weekends) is they love to eat. You can't go wrong with chocolate covered fruit.
