Can we talk about catheters?? Do you HAVE to get one when you give birth? That's like one of my worst fears.
Thanks for the insight! There's so much to wonder about. Only one way to find out. ..@andiryan93,
I hope so. I'm nervous! I'll be sure to update you guys in July @sexxymama83
I did all natural. No pain meds. I had antibiotics because I tested positive for group b strep. I had a dose or 2 of nubane to help me sleep in between contractions but that was because I had been up for so long and hadn't even ate much. Contractions weren't that bad. I had back labor and my mom basically would massage my back through each contractions.
Lmbo. I meannnnn they can but that's only in emergency situations Lol. You'll do fine. It'll be over before you know and you'll be looking back like what happened......
Yea, I guess I should just try to worry as less as possible bit I've always been super afraid of childbirth.
It went by fast and wasn't that painful . I don't really like pain either but it really depends cuz everybody is different@littlebump25
Both of those suck. I wish they could just put me to sleep lol @sexxymama83
How was your natural birth? I'm terrified. I have a low threshold for pain. @babykamya2016
Ohhh, lol so I have to pick my poison? Gosh I wish there was an easier way! @sexxymama83
I think you only get one when you get an epidural because you'll be numb from the waist down and they don't want you peeping everywhere Lol. Once you get the epidural your pretty much bed bound so no walking and going to the bathroom...... Insert catheter here..... Lol
I didn't have one and I had a vaginal birth but I didn't have a epidural so that maybe y
Thanks for the info ladies! I'm definitely a wimp when it comes to things like this. I'll just have to hope for the best! @jennatess. @nicemmcha2015. @yolee. @sofiakinsey9512
yeah I know u do if you have an epidural. you can't get up to do it yourself so. you're kinda stuck
yes I delivered on Thursday and they put me a catheter.. ugh it was so uncomfortable and painful when they removed it
Girl, it was my biggest fear also. And guess what... I didn't even know I had one until they told me, "okay. catheter is in!". It's a necessity if you have a c.section. I didn't feel anything when they took it out also.
Yep cause they want you to empty your bladder right before you start pushing and then if you can't go by yourself after birth they'll empty it for you again. I had a vaginal birth and that's what they did.
Thanks! My faith in self is wavering lol! Will do I'm just a bit dramatic @sexxymama83
