is it required to get a pap smear done? or can you diagree on getting it done ?

the only reason I would do it is to check for cancer cells.

For example.. I'm 20. Only been with one partner, and he's only been with me. Considering that, and that I'm still under 21, my OB said there was no reason to do it right now. After I deliver, he said he suggests it. So that's fine, I'll be 21 a few months after anyway. But after that, only every 3 years/after delivery. That's all I need. It's a personal choice :) I've done lots of research on it and this is what I feel most comfortable with; starting at age 21, and every 3 years after that, or after delivery of each baby I have. But no more often.

You can refuse it. They can't make you get one.
