Hello Mommies, i need suggestions or comments about this..
I have 5 months old baby (turning 6 this month), who has a dry cough (his pedia told me to just give him a humidifier) and slight cold (saline).. But the cough is still the same up until now.. Should I give him this over the counter? It says it's good to baby 2mons and up.. And it's safe.. What do you think? Thank you!
@kiyaratores, Yes. Look up croup on google. That is what my daughter had-it helped her big time!
I used this w my 1st born. She was born w bad asthma and easily got pneumonia and bronchitis. She got croup (extremely dry cough) at 6 months old and it was HORRIBLE, nothing worked. This helped along w saline in her nebulizer. My doc recommended this and only this saying it has helped MANY of his littlest patients.Good luck, I know how frustrating it can be when baby is sick!
Great brand but it has honey in it and that can cause early allergies. I gave my daughter Hylands cough medicine it's still natural just no honey. And it works amazingly, it says for ages 2-12 but when she was a baby I just lowered the dosage and gave her like .5ml
Try looking on YouTube videos @kiyaratores Croup was horrible.
