Has anyone tried essential oils (jasmine and/or lavender) to induce labor? Got some today to try, but kind of scared to use them. I don't want to hurt my baby girl or cause complications. Any advice?

just be careful with them and use a light hand, start off maybe with just a little in a warm bath, I've used some although they didn't work they can bring on strong contractions fast for some, not really a bad thing if you're trying to jump start labor but you don't want to make your labor harder than it needs to be!

everything I've read says to only use 1-2 drops, which is what I planned to do, just nervous..

@footballmom1, I'm not talking about castor oil. I'm talking about essential oils, like jasmine, lavender and Clary sage oils.
