Your baby probably just dropped. if you're having unbearable pain along with the tightening and it's timeable then those are contractions. other then that the tightening is probably just BH. If it keeps happening call your doctor.

it means you're getting closer to D-day mama!... the baby's probably dropped into position and you might be having mild contractions. when your stomach gets tight like that, it's usually Braxton hicks or contractions.
