Get a second opinion, my c section with my daughter turned out to be completely unnecessary. If it's not done for the safety of the baby, and just for your comfort, or timing purposes then it's not necessary and the healing process can be stressful. However, if it is a legit health concern and needed procedure, get a maternity pillow, and a small memory foam pillow, you'll need those to be comfortable in the bed and while moving around. The small memory foam pillow works great to press against your incision while learning to walk straight again, laughing and coughing/sneezing pains, trying to stand etc... It even helps too lean a bit forward onto the pillow while peeing. Do you plan on breastfeeding?

@jo_legend, it's for health reasons I'm getting it . Not my choice at all my Drs. But I'll do whatever to get my baby girl here safe. And yes I do plan on breastfeeding .

Okay cool. Be sure to voice your concerns about it. It's your body, and YOUR baby therefore it's YOUR choice. They made me think something horribly wrong was going to happen if I pushed her because she was too big, and then told me I would need a c section for all of my children which wasn't true at all. She was only 6lbs and I had my son after her naturally. They just saw that my hips were strong and it could be a lengthy labor and didn't want to wait hours and hours for her to come. Anyway... Lol back to you, you'll definitely want to use a hoppy pillow to breastfeed, it hooks around your mid section and adds extra support there, breastfeeding makes you contract and with the incision there it can be extremely uncomfortable. So I'd definitely get one to help hold the babies weight and to apply that needed pressure to the site of the pain
