I'm 18 weeks pregnant, first time mum! getting really worried that I've not felt any movements yet, my bumps big for where I am as you can see in the pic but I'm not big generally which was one of the reasons I read that you might not feel anything for a while. everything is where it's supposed to be according to the last scan but I just wondered if other people didn't feel movements until later than expected?
Most first time mummy's don't feel the baby until 20 odd weeks babes, don't worry x
I'm 21 weeks and just starting to notice my baby kicking, every pregnancy is different :) try not to worry Hun xx
They tell you your placenta position at 20 weeks. I felt movement at 23 weeks and 5 days xx
anterior is when the placenta is on the side nearest your tummy? maybe this would explain why I'm so big also!! just thought they would have seen that at my last scan which was when I was 14 weeks? xx
@lulumum8 Haha it didn't seem real to me either lol...I was 30+ weeks and still shocked when I saw my belly lol xx
Ahh thanks girls, that's really good to know. I'm so so out of my depth with this!! still can't get my head around the fact I'm pregnant and I'm nearly half way xx
They generally don't ask about movement until you are 24+ weeks anyway xx
No flutters or anything? Sometimes women don't realise it is the baby :) but early movements feel like bubbles..gas etc :) Also if you have an Anterior Placenta you may not be able to feel anything until 24+ weeks. I had one but still felt things early :) I wouldn't worry hun xx
I felt movement early on but every pregnancy is different. I wouldn't worry, your little monster will make themselves known when they feel like it 😊😊 xx
thanks :)
