Ok lady's I had my mid wife apt today and here's the deal. I've always been border line anemic like a 10 or a 9.5 but for some reason Ima 8.8. Which means that I won't be able to have my home water birth. So my mid wife said I have 7 weeks to get my shit together or Ima have to pop in the ER . So here is what I gotta do from now till I'm 37 weeks;
1) drink fucking kale and other nasty shit in a juice with some healthy powder shit lol
2) drink 18 drops of some green healthy shit in water lol
3) and have some lady come to my house once a week to stick my vein with a needle to do some iron infuse therapy so I can boost my iron fast....

Other then that the baby is good and I'm good. She used the Doppler to hear the babys heart beat and then asked this ....." There's only one baby right .?" ......so now I gotta get another fucking sonogram to verify if we ain't gotta little stow away hiding behind the one we can see.
...... Pray there is only one lol the shower is in 2 weeks . We only prepared for 1 lol

I had to have the iron infusions as well, they aren't that bad, always made me really tired afterward though. Good luck on getting your iron up!!!

@lexis1107, Doesn't hurt the baby at all. My iron was at an 8.2, doctor told me if it dropped to a 7 they would have to do a blood transfusion after birth. So it's actually beneficial to you too have it done. The infusions raised mine from an 8.2 to a 10.4, still not the ideal level but it's way better than where I was at.

Oh my god that's amazing that's what my mid wife wants 10.5 minimum! I'm so happy to know someone else experienced it and it worked for you! My blood type is rare and thank god my man and I are both type O but still I don't wana have to get a transfusion much less have to be rushed to the ER

@nikjay2015, lol I'm glad u enjoy my post. I laughed while writing it ... well she works with an obgyn and he prescribed me a super high iron pill supplement but she and I said hellllllll noooooo cuz I'm already constipated as it is. Plus meat and beans back me up too. So this is my last shot

Ugh I feel your pain. My iron level was at 10.9 and my doctor still prescribed them to me.. I've never been so constipated in my life. Like I'm literally shitting bricks out here 😂😩. So I got a new prescription that has a stool softener in it.. Hopefully it's more effective lmao
