Rant. I'm turning 21 tomorrow and my mom strongly disagrees that I have a glass of wine even when I even told her my doctor said it was okay for this one time occasion... I've never been so irritated with her especially when she said "well you shouldn't never got pregnant before you turned 21". Like wtf......

well eh.. I sipped a alcoholic free wine.. didnt like it.. still in my fridge lol but if your doctor lets you do it ..go for it... but make an informed decision.. a teaspoon of wine could affect your child while 4 glasses can affect someone elses.. i felt guilty with the alcoholic free lol
A glass of wine won't hurt you, or the baby, just cheers be happy and tell everyone who's not carrying YOUR CHILD to mind their business!
I avoided alcohol and all drugs. no pain relievers. I turned 21 on feb 25th. im fine you will be fine. fas can affect your baby anytime
Yeah but she doesn't know I was drinking before and this is my first pregnancy but my doctor said a glass was okay. My mom is just making a big deal about it and it's making me not want one now. @lilfree16
if you've already been drinking before 21, i dont see the big deal.. but no one knows the safe amount of alcohol consumption during pregnancy.

My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her ...
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

my sister is much older (41) but she drank occasionally during all of her pregnancies (5) wine, Margarita, beer she never had more than one at a time and they were very well spaced out all children were fine. my mom did the same thing also with five all were fine. my mom told me it would be fine on occasion as long as you don't get drunk. lol thanks mom. i have drank a few times very heavily but that was before i knew i was pregnant, my doctor said it would be fine. i sip on my moms every now and then but so far all is fine. everyone is different, just mention it to your doctor and go with what they advise.
