Okay. My SO has 2 children with his ex, and they were together for 12 years, so of course they still talk to each other. Well when I found out I was pregnant, he got excited and was telling everyone, including her, then a week later she puts on Facebook that she's pregnant too, only 2 or 3 days behind me. Okay, no big deal, but now every time he tells her something, she suddenly wants it too. I wanted a girl, now she wants a girl, I picked a name, suddenly she picked the exact name "on accident" (after SO told her ours), I want a small gender reveal party, suddenly she wants to have a huge gender reveal party, we got our date to find out what we are having, she found out my date was before hers and paid to find out early so she could know first.. I know I need to be excited about my own pregnancy and not worry about her but she is really getting on my damn nerves. I have asked SO to stop telling her things about my pregnancy but he says they just slip out when they are talking. It's probably just hormones but she's driving me crazy. This is my first baby and I feel likes she trying to steal my thunder because she doesn't like me anyway :/

@kelseys, they don't really talk a whole lot, they just try to have a positive relationship with the boys, she's married to someone else and happy from what I gather, she just doesn't like me very much and I think that's why she's doing all of this
Tell her kick rocks and stay clear of you but dont blame it to much on the so he's just happy and all men talk to much anyway. But she's just jealous
@mimi602, I know he doesn't do it on purpose, he just gets excited about things and they do slip out.. and I'm trying to ignore her and be happy but she's ruining it for me
girl I am kind of in the same boat. my boyfriend and I are having our second kid together... he has a daughter with someone else who he slept with drunk one time five years ago. she is OBSESSED with him to this day. I was pregnant before we when knew she was his kid, and then the baby mama got married and pregnant to try and make my bf jealous. she hangs out with his mom and sister all the time so we don't even go around them much anymore and she keeps his daughter from him! but now that we r having our second boy she's all of a sudden trying for another kid and was telling everyone she was glad she still has his only daughter. at this point my bf has given up the idea of being able to b her dad because she calls someone else daddy so now its all a big mess and he just has all his attention set on our boys.
sounds like they talk to damn much. honestly the way I see it, if they aren't together then they should only be talking about the children, not about you or anything else that goes on.
Hell nah I would feel some type a way about that too he needs to keep your relationship between the two of you!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
@courtneywarner, about a year ago we asked the boys if they wanted a little brother or sister, and they said yes and went home and told their mom (the ex) that daddy (my SO) was going to try to have another baby, literally not even a week later she went to the doctor and had her Mirena (idk how to spell it) removed so she could try too. And we just so happened to get pregnant around the same time and I'm a FTM so I'm so excited about everything and I feel like she's right there trying to one up me about everything.
