Has anyone heard of using laughing gas during labor to help calm you down? What are your views on…

never heard of it!

I just learned about it recently and want to know what other moms think. I don't want to have an epidural but am kinda nervous of the pain

Laughing gas during labor makes the baby loopy too. I didn't want my baby to have that, so I chose against it.

I know it wears off really quickly vs other meds- worth looking into.

I'm starting to look into and I'm going to talk to my ob and see if they offer it At the hospital I'll be delivering at. Most of what I read says there are a lot of benefits and very little side effects. It also doesn't harm the baby.
