I see a bunch of posts with mommies saying how far their dilated, I'm 37 weeks & Will be 38 Sunday how come I've never been checked ??

my doctor checked me when I did the gbs test, but not today at 37 weeks. it really doesn't mean much. you could be dialed but still not see labor for weeks, or be checked, NOT dialated, then go into labor the Second you leave. it's super uncomfortable
Some doctors don't check until in active labor as they see no reason to, with my first baby that's how my doctor was. Ask yours, usually it's around 37-38 weeks if they do, but like I said some don't!
I wasn't checked until 39 weeks and I never did dilate with Rylan. I had to have an unplanned c section.
Some doctors don't start checking until 38 weeks. My dr typically doesn't, but I asked to be checked at 37 weeks
that's crazy you haven't been checked yet talk to your dr...mine started checking me at 34 weeks
