Calm down and be strong, it's just a chance, not a fact! They often make mistakes

im praying its a mistake either way i will love my baby but its so terrifying

This happen to me, so I know what ur going thru. It's not easy. If they give u a blood test do it. In the meantime just pray everyday till the child is born. What did they say was the reason y ur child my have it?

they didnt say why they onky said its based on my weight and age. im a bit over weight im 34 but first blood work doc told me i was low risk fir any genetics problems after nt i have a 1in5 im scared @eo6579

and was your baby born fine. there is no history of downsyndrome in either of our families so im lost @eo6579

I haven't had the baby yet, when I first did the blood test they told me I was fine. Then during the Anatomy scan they saw that the nasal bridge wasn't there and that's a soft maker for ds. Then I did another blood test and then they said everything was ok. I still have it in the back of my mind but I just keep faith and hope everything is ok.

How about u go get a 2nd opinion at a 3D place or any other place that takes ur insurance. And see if they say the same thing.

But I think and anatomy scan at 14 is kinda early mines was at 20 weeks, but again go and get a 2nd opinion. If u can afford a 3D scan do soo.

I was told that my daughter was 100% going to have Down syndrome!! With that test and with the amino cytesis or what ever it called. They both states I would have a child with Down syndrome. I still would have loved my daughter even if she was born with it. But when I delivered her everyone was shocked!! She was a healthy baby girl with no genetic diseases. The only issues she has was asthma and a low immune system!! So keep your head up!! They aren't always accurate!! Good luck!!! Try and relax!

I absolutely will keep you in my prayers and yea God has a plan for everyone especially moms!! He won't ever give you something you ant handle!! So keep praying and keep hoping and everything will be ok!!

I'm getting that fetal diagnostic testing tomorrow I'm so nervous 😕 .... You have a chance of your baby not having Down syndrome though so I would get a second opinion

yea im going tuesday to another clinic because my sono looks normal and dr who checked my sono after the tech was hapoy and said baby looked amazing was active ect. i have to know my baby is ok or that god has blessed me with a special baby. @countrymama166
