so I made a mistake. I was talking to this guy who I knew before my fiancé well we were flirting (super big nono I know I feel horrible) well my fiance found out and we ended up getting into a fight. He called off the wedding as of right now. which I completely understand. so right now we are just boyfriend and girlfriend. I feel completely horrible and I hope one day he can forgive me and hopefully we can get married one day because I love him with all my heart.

No he doesn't have the right to forever throw it in your face, eventually if he says he forgives you, he'll need to let it go that's the whole point of forgiving someone. As far as the flirting, like you said you already know you're in the wrong and you're lucky he didn't just kick you to the curb entirely. Seems there needs to be a relationship evaluation done to see what's missing/going on because a strong relationship means neither would stray.

dont let these other women tell you that he can just bring it up in future arguments if they had the slightest idea of how you feel they wouldnt say that shit like that is so fucking rude to say to someone he will forgive you girl. One way or another he will and he wont have the right to bring it up thats what the initial argument was about and now thats done now is the not talking to each other for a bit phase and him blowing up your phone when you go out with your friends and thats going to stop eventually too. You will probably argue about what you did again a few more times but that'll stop too. You didnt just hurt him and betray him but you did hurt and betray yourself too. its gonna take time but the guilt will fade every one sees cheating as a one-way street but it really isnt it may have felt good one time but afterwards you feel dirty and hurt that you let yourself become this person and that you hurt the one person who said they'll always be there for you. Im sorry im getting way too personal with this but before my husband and i got married i cheated on him and i still feel terrible and that was last year in may. we got married in august mostly because of the baby but i didnt care we love each other but he didnt fully forgive me until about october so we had a couple months of fighting during our marriage and him threatening to leave. Anyway keep your head held high and dont let anyone else make you feel bad for doing what you did the only person who can is him and i know people will say "well you disrespected and cheated on his family too" no not true, this is between you and him
