I know this is a little gross but idk what else to do. I switched my daughters formula and this is how her diaper looked today. It looks like blood is in her poop. I took her to urgent care last week and they said she had a tear that could cause streaks of blood in her stool but this looks like mucus and blood in her stool, not just streaks. The doctors don't seem to care because I told him I thought it was more than just streaks of blood and it's so frustrating. Has any other moms had this problem or seen a diaper like this from their baby?
yea the hospitals are useless...I went to 4 diff hospitals before they figured it out...I'd get them to take a stool sample to check for Infections & things like that & if it comes bak normal then its jus the formula change...altho its for digestive it'll still take her body time to get used to it & get the old out...
@andiryan93, so should I go ahead and make a doctor appointment or take her back to urgent care. If it's okay to wait for a doctor I'd rather do that than go to urgent care. Full of sick people and the doctors were rude and just had me in and out like they didn't care.
@jasminemb92, she has been going alot, not every few minutes, but way more than normal, like every diaper has poop, & it's just little bits but the formula I changed to is Enfamil reguline which is for good digestive health and then this happens and I'm so worried
Well the first time the blood showed up I hadn't switched it yet and then the blood went away and this is the worst it's been and I switched it 2 days ago. @andiryan93
yes my daughter ended up having a parasite...does she go a lot ? like every few minutes ? she wud even go while I was changing her...my poor baby was so sore ...not sayin thas wats wrong with yur baby but thas wat happened to me..
I would wait for your doctor. Emma had rotavirus and there wasn't anything they could do because there isn't anything she can take for it. It had to run its course.
