I use mittens on my son. You're fine. There's a risk with everything no matter what you do. Lol

@osnaprose, my hospital didn't say anything about it. and they stay on her hands. it just depends on how tight the elastic is in them

don't use mittens . the nurses told me that they get loose and some babies have choked on them when I had my son. I threw all his mittens away and used his socks

she might not like the car seat maybe put some receiving blankets around the straps so she can feel more comfy?

@rosemoon, @tiffanigypsy8 I have some. she didn't really put her hands to her face until we put her in the carseat

if you don't have mittens use socks! my son knows how to pull the mittens off with him mouth at 1 week old so i have to use socks. he has little bruises on his eye from pushing his fingers into it
