My baby girl was born at 34 weeks she was in nicu 2 weeks

5lbs 6 ounces 18 inches she was kinda big for a 34 weeker but still small for a baby

really why did she have to be in the nicu? if you don't mind me asking??

My water bag ruptured and I was leaking her fluid and dialating but they thought my placenta was at risk of tearing They first told me automatically cause she was a preimie they were going to take her ASAP well she cried so they decided not to they told me she was very devoloped for a 34 weeker she wasn't to early but she cried loud sucked on a pacifier (34 weeker a pallets shouldn't be as devoloped hers was ) a lot of things they had her in the regular nursery for about 6 hours when she started breathing extremely fast ( I had seen her once and they wouldn't allow me to walk yet ) her lungs weren't fully devoloped and she had cried so loud she blew holes in her lungs she looked jaundice they said but she wasn't just looked that way cause her daddy's super dark and her mommys white lol

But trust me the preimes are usually fighters and grow just as fast ! New born 5lbs 6 ounces dropped to 5lbs 3 ounces

Now she's 4 months over 15lbs & is like a normal baby
