my daughter is 4 months old and we only had to wait 6 weeks after my c sections as well

And youre ok? Any reason you have heard of why they advise to wait longer? Did you use a condom to be safe? I really would rather use anything else but a condom, but that's what the Dr advised if I do before 8w... @krista15
