If I'm having a c section and will be induced how do they go about doing that will I get checked to…

Wait, what? Why would they do both? I'm confused.

Idk how things work being induced for a c section that's why I am asking if anyone has ever did that so that I can find out what is going to go on

The only time I've heard of doing both is if the induction doesn't work and they have to do an emergency c section. I don't see why they would try to induce you if they think you'll need a c section.

He isn't inducing me I mean technically yes I'm being induced but I'm going in for a c section I'm not doing the vaginal birth that's what I was asking what do they do like do I just go in and get drugged up and get it over with or will I have to go through them checking to see if I'm dilated and all that stuff I'm only saying I'm being induced because I'm gonna prob go in at 39 weeks so we do t risk me going into labor at home @kimberlyyyy

If you're having a csection they probably won't bother checking your cervix & all that. Just straight to the numbing & cutting :). Best of luck!!

I was still checked before my emergency c section but I wasn't dilated at all. But I understand what you mean though. I would just call it a scheduled c section rather than induced c section. I preferred my c section over my induction/vaginal birth though. Hope everything goes well!
