I'm really iffy about kids and technology... part of me is totally for giving your kid your tablet and letting them…

I think its a balance in my opinion, technology has its benefits,but shouldn't consume all there time. One on one time, and playing and reading are special times for you and your child.

You can do both🤗 just gotta balance it out. That's what I'm seriously hoping to do. I'd love my son to have books and want to go outside and explore and not be hooked on a tablet or anything. But since there is convenience behind some technology I'm going to allow it. With limits of course lol

If I can manage a balance then of course that's what I'd do but trying to take the tablet away from my sister is like pulling teeth and thats what I'm worried about. My parents would give her the tablet and stick her in front of a tv so they could have a break or do something other than tend to her and now that I'm trying to read to her or play with her she's just not having it @dueaug28th

@maciecakes, you can manage momma. your child, your rules. sometimes will be harder than others but you got it.

It might take sometime,but I'd try taking her to the park, or doing something messy like finger paint, my four year old daughter loves making a mess lol

make a chart..i did after school snack, homework, if they hve been good play time thier choice of outside or tech...or if they had tech the day before i choose outside. then so on....hope tht could help...no right way!😀 ur kids ur rules!
