I'm so frustrated with my husband. I asked him last night to come home early from band practice because I was feeling really depressed and having an off day and he said he would. Then he stayed out really late so I texted him asking him not to wake me up when he got home and what does he do. He wakes me up then has the nerve to ask if I'm mad at him. Of course I am. Not only because you didn't stick to your word but because you know how hard it is for me to sleep now and you don't even try to be quiet when you come in passed 10 pm...this shit will not fly once our son is here. If he wakes him up he'll be dealing with him the rest of the night..I don't care if he has work the next morning. >.<

10pm? honey, i feel your frustration but let me tell you, it could be SO much worse! The father of my kids, before I left him, used to just not come home, or get so drunk he would park in the neighbors driveway & get his car towed. He gave me not one but TWO stds while ive been pregnant with our son & while I am SUPPOSED to be on bedrest [after he assaulted me...twice] has not even contacted me to see or help with our soon to be one year old in almost 2 months. I am in no way trying to give you a sob story, just want you to know that it could be worse, I WISH late had been 10pm with him instead of 5am or not at all. Being preggo is tough, we feel left out, but remember that your man doesnt get the closeness we do with our kids, afterall, we carry them :-) reality will hit him soon enough & I bet he will be a GREAT daddy! Hang in there mama, cut him a little slack, but tell him your frustrations. Everything will be ok, its only temporary, dont forget that! <3

passed 10 pm I went to bed at 10 not entirely sure when he came in lol and I know it could be worse...he's a great guy..I just don't understand why he would say yeah I'll be home early and not..a simple text would have been nice. and wow I'm sorry you had to deal with that D: @ladypsmama

oh ok lol well, ya know...sometimes guys just dont get it, to be honest. Its no excuse, but they really dont get how important it is to us, as hormonally fueled balls of no fun, we expect more, especially since we cant be having all the fun that they can! Just talk to him about how it makes you feel, sometimes men need a little bit of "schooling" lol. You know, yeah, my situation sucked, but I am a stronger woman because of it & I am glad my daughter is too young to be aware of what a shit show her father really is. I knew what he was capable of, but thought our kids would change him.....he did good for about 3 months. Im glad I got to see him with our daughter, but I am glad we got out when we did, before things became unmanageable & before I got too preggo to fight back! You live & you learn my dear, & thankfully, I wont have to worry about my son learning how to "treat" women like garbage or my daughter thinking its ok to be treated as such. Its all about perspective :-)
