Had my 25 week midwife appointment today. she did my blood pressure wrong 3 times then did it manually. and didn't say much else other than back in 3 weeks time for wooping cough vaccine. Wondering when I will get to hear my little girls heartbeat? :( x

@clairey, Yeah I completely understand. it's exactly the same for me. I've looked into private scans but I'm in no position to be able to pay for it. thanks though xx

When I went I had the midwife have a go at me about my weight and telling me I should be doing this and that without actually asking me if I did those things and my scan pictures won't be as clear etc etc really put me down so I decided to go for a private one. the scan picture was soo much better and she listened to baby's heartbeat when I was only 15 weeks after I had been told they wouldn't attempt until about 25 weeks because of my weight. a lot of the time they just can't be bothered and obviously forget that they were in tip top shape when they were pregnant. I'd suggest going for a private one I went to an amazing one if you want the name and place just message me x

@christina21, aw that's not good, when you next go I would just say to her that you want her to listen to see if she can pick up baby's heartbeat! They're supposed to do it at 16 weeks xx

@courtniegeexo, this is my first to go this far 😊. @stephaniex no she hasn't done that. I'm not keen on her anyway she's always been snotty with me. I put it down to being young and single. And the first time I went she had a proper bitch about my weight. nothings been mentioned since and she never weighs me but I think she doesn't want to listen cause she might find it difficult? xx

My midwife first listened to my baby's heartbeat at 16 weeks and every appointment since then, has yours not done that? If not I would ask her xx

It's my first baby so i do worry a little but it's kind of normal now that I feel it one day and then don't feel anything for a few days 😊 @christina21 xx

@courtniegeexo, Ohh thank you 😊 I'll look into it. Don't get yourself too worried though. I didn't start feeling any movements at all til 22 weeks and now she's a bit bigger it's stronger 😊. midwife said today she will start a pattern soon and to keep an eye on it. 😊 xx

They are cheaper on eBay than anywhere else if I'm honest I'm on income support myself but I'm having a serious think about getting one because my baby doesn't move all the time and when I don't feel it it's kind of worrying, you can also hire one which might be cheaper 😊 @christina21 xx

Yeah I was thinking about that but being a single parent and on sick I'm not in much of a position to buy one 😦 xx

You could always get your own heart beat monitor they help give piece of mind and they cost about £25-£35 depending on the model xx
