Bed bugs literally ruined my life. Get that couch out as soon as possible. They cause psychological problems too and hypervigilence. My legs are absolutely covered in scars. Literally so bad to where the hospital at labor and delivery had to put that I have a skin condition. It is horrible. Literally please save yourself while you can lol. Good luck. Bed bug bombs rarely work, you need to spray a lot and they reproduce SO FAST.

Noooo get rid of those!! Why would he wanna keep them?! Spraying doesn't work at all. My friends apartment got them and she moved and got rid of everything because even after the heat treatment they still weren't all gone.

It won't hurt your baby, but once it's born it will. It causes extreme stress. The itching isn't like a mosquito bite. It is extreme and intense itching. I would get out of the shower and sit on the floor and cry and I would have to scratch my feet with a steak knife. It is really that bad, I'm serious. Get the furniture out immediately. They're not easy to get rid of and I can't imagine seeing my baby covered in bites. That would destroy me.

I know! it's sad that he doesn't want to get rid of the sofa.. I don't know y he would want to keep something like that very unhealthy..and it won't hurt your baby until she/he comes

As @natalieviands said it definitely is horrible mentally and physically my ex did they same thing they went from the couch to in the walls once they were in the walls we had to move I actually left him because of this I had bites everywhere I still carry the scars on my legs and the worse part is I was allergic to the bites so they looked god awful

Finally got my bed bug problem to go away before baby comes(whole street was infested, they still occasionally pop up on the floor while traveling from next door) but it took A LOT of spraying and loss of perfectly good furniture. The amount of spraying was unhealthy because I had to do it daily, eventually weekly, then whenever I felt was good to spray. I still spray around my bed with lavender bleach and I spray the perimeters of each room etc. they really are a nightmare! They honestly do take away your sanity.
