So, I read so much about the bad things in Johnson & Johnson products, and I was going to try avoiding them. Most of the lotions, shampoos and washes I have stocked up are generic (parents choice brand) versions of J&J products. Does anyone know if these products are safe to use? If not, I'll just start using honest and burts bees, but I was just curious :o

We use Johnson and Johnson and Aveeno (which is a Johnson and Johnson product). They work great. We also use Burts Bees and Honest products too. In my opinion it doesn't really matter. It's up to you and what you feel comfortable with.

Dr. Bronner's castille soap is excellent and a more natural soap. That's what we are going to use, we are going down the more natural/organic route. I would use Burt's Bees or Aveeno soaps as well.

I've been using a brand called ERA organics for my eczema & it's fantastic. They are introducing a bunch of new baby products in the next 2 weeks. I emailed the owner & told him how the mamas on here are looking for alternative products to j&j. He's going to make a coupon for us to use, so I'll post it as soon as I get it!!
