do you think it's OK to put my son in a rear facing covertble. seat yet he 6 months and over I said 16 pounds what do y'all think keep him in his infintt seat or what

Yes u can my son is 6months in a Convertible car seat, he is so much happier in it. He looks really comfortable. @conor2015
Yes it's safe for a convertible. I brought my youngest daughter home from the hospital in a convertible. I never bought an infant seat at all, we just babywear instead of carrying around a heavy seat. but I have 2 kids so wearing is more practical for me.
I'm not sure where you live but there is a law here that your child has to rear-face until they are 1 year of age. Its also way safer to keep them rear-facing until they are 2 years of age.
my boys hated their infant carseats they have been in rear facing convertible ones for well over a month now and they're 6 months.
@conor2015, it's 2 years old regardless of weight. weight and height doesn't matter it's age. a 40lb 18 month old's spine is still not as developed as a 20lb 2 year old. forward facing before their spine fuses properly is deadly.
@alaynajanae, a rear facing convertible is safe from birth and kids have to be rearfacing until 2 years old.
Noooo 6 months is wayyyyyyyy too early! They say keep them rear facing till at least 18 months. It's the safest way for baby to be in the car. People usually don't wait 18 months but why not if its safest! ☺️
