I never got to breast feed my first born, so I'm pretty determined to ready feed with Madison. Even though she's premature ... I'm still pumping to try to keep a supply going. But, how'd you mamas get over being nervous about breast feeding in public? I have a cover ... But I'm terrified of the looks or the comments I may get for it. My fiancé is very supportive but I don't wanna cause problems ya know?
yesterday my boyfriend asked me very nicely not to breast feed my daughter while we were eating. where we were eating was more of a bar than a restaurant, and full of men and big biker type guys lol. he only asked me to because where we were sitting was very exposed and he didn't want to get into a fight with anyone with smart remarks. that ment we had to go sit in my hot car to feed. just remember that you are entitled to feed your baby, you shouldn't have to sit in a dirty bathroom or hot ass car because other people are being creepy and have an issue with something 100% natural.
Forget about the other people. You're feeding your baby and that's what's important. I have a 29 weeker. I spent 7 weeks pumping so I could breastfeed my itty bitty and I still get a little nervous about breastfeeding in public, but you're not doing it for attention. Some people are going to be disgusted. Just remember it's not about them- it's all about your baby.
