My boyfriend and I have had a couple names picked out since we found out we were having a boy. We went to his family Christmas and told one name that was high on our list and not the other. So his aunt and cousins started calling him Finnick which was one of our other names. Now it's our top pick (just spelled Fynnic) and they keep saying they picked out his name, or they named him and I can't change it. It's really making me annoyed and makes me not want to name him that. What should I do??
@pixiestix, @reaganmommy2015 thank you both for helping me understand that it shouldn't matter what they think or say:)
let them believe what they wanna believe. dont try and make everyone else happy by making yourself unhappy.
@pixiestix, I really want to but I know that they will tell everyone they picked and they named him.
I would just tell them it's not their kid it's yours so you will make the decision
name your baby what you want to name him. dont let family control what you do with your child.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
of course! everyone in your family or his family will have something to say or something they think you should be doing differently. you have to keep in mind that this isnt their child, but yours. you have final say, you get to decide what is right for that child. not them. you cant let what other people think affect your parenting or what you think is right for your child or your decisions towards what you choose to do with your child. you gotta let that shit just roll right off. :)
