Today was my baby shower, but my Dr ordered an emergency ultrasound after further reviewing my ultrasound on Friday. So, I spent my morning in the hospital fearing I'd miss my shower. Obviously my babies come first and they're all I care about at this point. I would have just felt guilty for putting everyone out. My Dr's concern was intrauterine growth restriction, but everything seems to check out. What a stressful weekend. I was so scared. My girls need to grow some more.
It's a boy :) we are supposed to be delivering at Methodist but I may change my mind because I haven't heard the best things about it :/ I'm going to decide for sure after my tour this week. It's late in the game but I don't want to deliver somehwhere I'm not comfortable. Do you like st Vincent's? A friend of mine recommended st Vincent Carmel
We saw a specialist today. They're bellies are too small. :( We will be monitoring them weekly. We have to do kick counts everyday. If they're function starts to decline (kick less than ten times each in two hours), we deliver. At anytime. So, we're hoping they just keep kicking away. I'll probably deliver at St Vincent's now as that is where the specialist is.
Also I saw you're from Indianapolis and I am too, what hospital are you delivering at?
So everything is alright?! Congrats, twins must feel so exciting 😍 I can't imagine the crazy movement you must feel!
I'm going to schedule a tour tomorrow. We just found out today a specialist would deliver our girls at a hospital we had never been to. So, we're still processing and trying to catch up to what's going on. We were going to deliver at Community South and I really liked it, but now it's kind of out of our hands. The nurse practitioner told us we could schedule a tour of NICU instead of touring the maternity ward. :( Kind of scary.
