hi ladies, here's a question for mummy's who've been induced, when you've been induced how long before you are supposed to give birth? xx ✌
The drip is what sent me into labour but far to quick and painful! I was 39+2 but my waters had broken at exactly 39 and nothing had started on its own before 48hrs xx
I had my waters broken then had the drip straight after because little man had pooed in me so they wouldn't let me go into labour on my own so they put the drip in at about 21.00 ish on the Sunday (very painful on the drip... apparently its the most painful induction method) and gave birth the Monday at 13.33. but very different for everyone xxx
my waters broke but nothing else happened so after 24 hours they put me on the drip. went on it at 7 am and had baby at 13.36 same day - think the drips the quickest form of induction but also the most painful x
had pessary at about 10pm on 7th drip on the 9th at about 2am im sure i dilated through vomiting the dr checked on me about 6am n took it off went from 3cm to 7cm then the rests a blur too much happened lol had my twins at 10.37am and 11.19am on the 9th 😊😊
The drip was what sent me into labour after they broke my waters. I wasn't dilated at all as far as they no when I was induced. Message me if you want Hun x
So next day seems to be a trend. just wondering incase I go over and get offered it. The drip is supposed to definately make you go into labour isn't it? Also how far along were you ladies upon induction? @abiruth @tuftyturtle @shannon391 @snafka @bcm92 xxx
I was put on the drip at 6pm on the Sunday and had my daughter at 3.55pm on the Monday x
I was induced at 9am 15th Dec and don't have DD until 5.45pm 16th Dec. I started contracted hard and fast at around 10pm so 11hrs of nothing, but everyone slowed down again in the morning! I am going to try and avoid induction as much as I can this time! X
I have been indused Monday 11 am and meant to have baby around 5 pm nothing happened at all . I have been all night on drip had contraction but didnt open Up even 1 cm . So Tuesday 13:23 my son was delivered by emergency c section . But there is no rules everyone is different
@tuftyturtle mine took a couple of hours to start working, luckily I didn't need a second one. my time recorded was 5 hrs 19 min xx
I was given a pessary at 12.00pm on the 27th dec and wasn't in established labour until 7.15pm had my little man at 12.04am on the 28th dec . xx
It's completely different for everybody. Some people induction doesn't work at all. others it's a couple of hours. And others it's a day or so. I had contractions as soon as pessary was put in baby was born 9 hours later but my established labour time is recorded as 1:40 mins

A Statement from Mom.Life:
Hey everyone!
Last night, a new user began messaging our moms asking for private pictures of toddlers and young children. This is obviously unacceptable behavior, and the account was banned immediately. Although thankfully extremely rare on Mom.Life, several users were understandably upset by this, so we wanted to clarify a few things:
First off, Mom.Life has an absolute zero tolerance policy for child abuse and those who would prey on children. We strive to ...
Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?

Is this the one yall drink to induce??? I'm desperate
Religion Conspiracy/Theory
**This is not to bash peoples religion and beliefs but to talk about our own theories and ideas** I would like to discuss a certain topic that came to mind after talking to my SO. I know some of you ladies like a good conspiracy talk so i would like to have a good discussion and hear thoughts of others. So back story my SO friends got very offended when he mentioned not believing in god or religion and it got me thinking. Is religion a failing form of goverment cont...
As my waters were trickling on her due date (a Thursday) they decided to wait to see what would happen but I was not progressing beyond 2cm so they decided to induce me at like 4am on the Friday morning so I was put on the drip, but still nothing was happening except very painful contractions, they ended up using 2 bags and then tried to force me to have a c - section as labour wasn't progressing and I was in a lot of pain and basically it was taking too long for them but I refused and persevered without pain relief and eventually she was born at 12 pm on the Saturday afternoon. xx
