I hate it when people call their baby an "it" before knowing the gender, or the word "fetus", or…

I always referred to mine as baby Trembley :) which is my last name

@cass_lynne, I called her blueberry. And I will also correct someone to say "the baby" if they say "it". 😂😂

I'm 35 weeks and we decided not to find out the gender until delivery day, the amount of nicknames this baby has is a riot.

I called my first baby "peaches" before finding she was a girl and this baby I just say "baby" sometimes my husband just says my boy because he really wants this baby to be a boy lol

@karennn, I wanted my baby to be a boy too, so I would actually call her a him before I even knew she was a girl 😂 @alexinwonderland I couldn't do that! Waiting so long to find out what I'm having, luckily you only have a few more weeks to find out what your love bug is 😍

it's so much easier and respectful to call the baby a nick name of some sort, I call mine "my little sea monkey" because it was so tiny at 6 weeks on the sono, or "my lil pickle" 😂 now it's my baby, baby, little one, my human, my side kick, lil fatty, nugget, and then my bd calls it whatever the ovia app compares the baby to, first it was "awh poker chip" then it was "our matchbox car" now he calls it "peach" but I've heard soooooooo many I just don't understand why someone would call a baby "it" or the "unborn", Baby B, Baby Bush, Little blessing, miracle, something. it's a baby not an object!

@kaylaweilert, I called her sea monkey early on in my pregnancy too 😂. It just makes me feel uneasy when the baby is referred to as "it" or "fetus", it's offensive to me lol.

@dja, it has actually been surprisingly fun! Delivery day is going to be extra exciting.

I say "it" still sometimes but I don't mean to, & I correct myself to saying "her" or "she" or her name, it just still isn't that real to me.
