my boyfriend explained to me that hes not ready to be a father, that he wanted a year or two more alone with me. It makes me feel terrible about being pregnant. Hes convinced we won't be as close or have quality time like we do now. why couldnt he tell me when we were having a crap relationship so we could be closer before I found out I was pregnant, I would have not been pregnant if he could have told me the truth instead of saying "If I it happens it happens","that he'd be a dad when it came to time." he's let me down and by bringging his baby girl into the world dissapoints him..

i'm sorry! although i understand where he is coming from that is still such an awful thing to say to you! you are pregnant that's it. no looking back just forward. i'm worried about not being as close to my husband too but it's funny we bonded more over raising our puppy it'll just be diff with a baby. you guys have to make time for each other when the baby comes and the effort has to come from both of you.

Well you don't have as much time as a couple but you have to be intentional about making time. Find a great baby sitter you trust to still make time for our partner. And he needs to step up and be supportive. It helps no one in this situation. It's okay for him to share his fears but he needs to pony up. My husband and I have fallen more in love after becoming parents but we've really really had to find time to be w one another, especially bc he is military and constantly gone so I often feel like a single parent. We've had to learn how to communicate better and learn how to make each other feel loved through log distance and being parents

Omg!!! I'm dealing with the same with the father of mine. We already have one and kept telling me he has baby fever. I told him we weren't ready but if I got pregnant then I'm pregnant we will have another child. Then I get pregnant and he mentions an abortion. No sir you wasn't thinking about your reasons to have an abortion when you had baby fever
