I've been losing bits and pieces of my mucus plug for 2 days now. I was told not to take a bath bc of the risk of infection. I thought to myself well what about sex? That sounds like way more of a risk of infection.. So I googled it and it says not to! I just can't believe I haven't heard this before? What do you ladies think? I'm only 37 weeks..

I wouldn't risk it for either. You should call your doctor or a doctor on call and ask.

i have been, I'm fine doctor hasn't said anything about no sex after losing mucus plug.. i know a lot of women who continue sex after @xoamac

it's no sex or baths after your water breaks, is what I thought.

your mucus plug regrows until you have your bloody show. which is blood in your mucus plug because it have reached the end. until then it should be safe to have sex
