having a baby is scary, but hating a baby that has to go to the nicu is even scarier . Not knowing whether your child will make is home or not is the only thing on your mind . I was one of the lucky ones who baby got to come home but their are plenty others who will never be able to experience that

u r right...my daughter was born at 36 weeks n needed to stay in NICU for one week i was not able to take her w me... is the worst feeling to leave without ur baby the first day n not being able to feel like a mom

that is how I felt , especially when I got discharged. I cried so much just knowing he wasn't coming with me the nicu nursed had to walk me back to the waiting room because I was in such bad shape . my son had came out basically dead and I just knew in my heart I wasn't gonna see him again if I left that hospital
