I used the merina. I also breastfed my daughter til almost 2 yrs old. Once I stopped, it took about 2 months for me to get a regular period cycle again. @bricebarrett102397

I had Mirena after I had my twins. hurt so bad to get it put in. worked great for me till I stopped breastfeeding when they were 18 months then I got a period 2 times a month. so I switched to the pill. After this baby I'm going on the mini pill.

I had the IUD placed right after my first baby and I kept it in, problem and pain free for almost 4 yrs (I only had it removed bc we were ready to have baby #2). I plan on getting one after this baby is born, too. It was so nice not to have to worry about taking a pill or anything. It worked out well for me.

I have tried all of the birth controls and I gound the patch to be the best for me. the IUD (I tried both) didn't work. the mirana I was aleays in pain and bleeding and the non jormonal copper moved on me and it was unbelievably painful. even numbing meds didn't help.

definitely not iud. that was the worst experience of my life. i had constant pain and cramping after like i was being stabbed in the uterus. My Dr said it was fine after checking it but the issues continued until i removed it myself ( it comes out like a tampon nothing surgical or anything ) within hours of taking it out all pain and issues stopped. My fiances niece had the same issues as me but she ended up needed an emergency complete hysterectomy because it embedded into her uterine wall. Some have no issues with it but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
