So I've been trying to get pregnant off and on for almost 1 year in a half so my obgyn did blood work and he found 4.9 hypo thyroid now he starting me on medicine and he said it's not very bad at all .. What does it mean because he said I don't have THROYID problems ? Need help

My doctor put me on meds for my thyroid. I don't have any significant problem. I have it checked every year , but like all tests there is a normal and high range. They don't want it to be more than 3.5 if I remember correctly. It will help regulate your level.

I guess it depends on your levels... because i have a Overactive thyroid and i have Graves disease, which is also called Hypothyroidism.... Having this can effect you getting pregnant. That's why i find it a blessing to be pregnant right now. because i wasn't trying and i was also on Birth control for almost 3 years before i got pregnant.

ohh okay, so want to ask questions and ne on the safe side. once your level are high it's a challenge.
but I hope it works out, and you do conceive!
