so here is what I know: according to my last (first day) of my period, I am supposed to be 10 weeks. I went to the doctors on Thursday March 3rd, they did an ultrasound and said: "we are not sure what is going on, you have a sac (and something about a yolk sac?) and it is measuring 6 weeks or so, but we don't see a baby(/fetus). we are not sure of anything at this point. we will do another ultrasound Thursday March 10th to find out more." does anyone have any experience or advice on this? I'm going nuts....

you could have just skipped a period and conceived the month after making you only 6 weeks which would be too early to see anything but a sac typically. I have had a blighted ovum before though. I found out I was expecting at 6 weeks. Then went to the er with cramps and bleeding at 11 weeks. no fetal pole was present.. meaning a baby was not developing. I miscarried. I hope it's not that but if it is...try to remember God's timing
Yeah! I saw it Tuesday, 155 heart beat and all! They just had to wait couple weeks! Sometimes the date of conception, doesn't match the period!
When I got my first U/S in the ER I was suppose to be six weeks, but they just saw the sac! As of right now I'm 7 weeks and 5 days. My period I guess messed it up.
last time I had the sac with nothing inside after I had my son. I'm praying it's just too early and small. they gave me no information at all. (besides what I said above)
I have as well. Its very possible it's early on and baby is just too small. also though sometimes you have a sac with nothing growing inside and your body believes it's pregnant but is not. Either is possible. I hope it's baby is just too small. did you have a heart beat? you should at 6 weeks but maybe not.
I am so scared that I will lose th is one like the last. Idk what happened, I had a perfect baby boy and then I lost a child, now I'm scared that something is wrong... but I have been so sick for 2 months.
the baby would be in the yolk sac if it was in there. you may not be as far as you think. I had that happen to me I had a sac at 5 weeks but no fetal pole and then I had to wait 5 more weeks till they could actually see the baby and hear the heart beat.
So I had an ultrasound yesterday. I should be 6+ weeks. The doctor suspects a blighted ovum as all we could see was the sac. Anyone been through this? What were your symptoms?

So excited to find out what we are having! My appointment isn't until 4 though, and we are doing a balloon reveal so we probably wont know til around 6 that evening! How will I make it til then? Lol we really don't have a gender we want more, just excited for a healthy baby and to finally know for sure! Doctor told us he was 90% sure it was a boy at 13+3. Ill be 17+3 on Thursday ?. Hoping this week flies by!
UPDATE: Hey lovely ladies! Figured I would stop by to give y'all a quick update! I am 12 weeks pregnant today! We had a scan at 8 weeks and everything was perfect. I have also been able to hear my sweeties heartbeat since 8w5d! My next ultrasound is next Thursday at 13 weeks! We are also very excited to be announcing our pregnancy to everyone on Fathers day! & my oh my how those gorgeous babies of yours have grown!! Enjoy it ladies they grow so fast❤
So I had an elective ultrasound a few weeks ago and was told I was having a boy but my scan today they said girl! Not really sure what to tell my husband!
on the 6th October I did 2 test with 2 lines , 3rd test was clear blue digital and was positive 2-3 weeks I was waiting for a month for a midwife appointment.. so yesterday I started bleeding went today for a scan and they go to me no sac .. but can see a cyst or a sac outside the womb so therefore she did another test there and it was negative .. she said if it was positive it would have been ectopic pregnancy but because it was negative she said it's miscarriage.
Has anyone else been through...
I had that exact thing right after my son was born @showersoverflowers but I have never skipped a period in my life.. but I'm praying it's too early.
