Question. I'm going through all the clothes I got at my baby shower, do I need to wash all these brand new clothes before my baby wears them or is it fine to put them on her brand new when she's here?
i never washed any of my sons clothes before he was born and was all brand new as my new arrivals are... i wasnt going to wash any of them again. anyone else not bothered?
???????????? I went to the restroom for just a couple minute...... My son got my daughters formula off of the counter and now its all over the floor. I want to cry. It was all I had right now. And it was a brand new can.
So I want opinions. I've had some friends tell me they didn't wash their babies new clothes before putting them on them and some have said they wouldn't put new clothes on their babies until they washed them. My question is, how important is it to wash the babies clothes before putting them on them when they're first born? TIA
My mom and her boyfriend are making a big deal because I'm washing my babies clothes, mamaroo cloths, & bassinet cloths....saying its unneccesary they never washed new clothes with their children and nothing happened to them...I said well all my momma baby sites say its best to wash items to reduce allergic reactions since the babies r really sensitive.. they think its stupid...its my baby damn let me be extra cautious if I feel like it...
Any mamas in Sacramento I have lots of baby girl clothes to give away. All Brand new great condition.

Wash them, only because you don't know whose hands have been all over them in the store, or how many times it's fallen on the floor and been put back on the rack, etc. Then they're all fresh and clean.

Wash them. Factories spray them with stuff to keep them looking fresh!
