Question. Need advice please. My top wisdom tooth is all the way through but is causing me bad pain…

Usually when you're pregnant they won't let you get your wisdom teeth taking out because most dentists put you under for the procedure. Your ob will fax a list of what the dentist can do to the dentist office which is usually just the normal cleaning, filling, cavity, and if you get a tooth pulled they'll give you the numbing shot. I personally can't have any dental work done because even for a filling they have to put me under cause I'm so terrified of dentists and have anxiety attacks while at the dentist office.

I desperately need a crown, couldn't even do that cause they wanted to give me epinephrine and my doc said no to that. Baby is 8 weeks almost, still haven't taken care of it smh

they most likely will not allow anything of that nature right now. I know it sucks and it hurts so so bad but you'll need to wait it out, because not only would you be at a higher risk of infection but you can't be sedated right now it's very risky and can make the babys heart rate drop. just keep your mouth as clean as possible, see if orajel is approved cause it's just topical to numb your gum pain and maybe even make the appt to have the removal after birth so you have a set date to look forward to (with your OBs approval). good luck!

I had to get dental work done with out any numbing it was awful your OB will let you know the steps to take or prescribe you with a topical ointment to help with the pain as they did me!
