What birth control is good, doesn't cause crazy weight gain and is okay while breastfeeding?

I think the only 2 BCs you can get while breastfeeding are the iud and mini pill. that's all that was available to me when I was bf my boys

@kparis, I went with the Mirena. it has its pros and cons. I've Gained 30 lbs though :/ my depression was heightened. I've had it for 3 years and I am actually making an apt next week to have it removed. the mini pill just wasn't fit for me because you literally have to take it at the same exact time every Single day or it doesn't work.

I took the mini pill, I set an alarm on my phone so it would take it at the exact time every day, I had heard bad things about the iud such as major weight gain such as @kaylaposh said

yeah I hate the Mirena honestly. unfortunately I didn't do much research before I got it in. just make sure what ever you use you do your research

you can get the rod In your arm as well if I'm not mistaken. the mini pill will.make you gain weight too. I gained 23 lbs before saying screw this and stopped taking it. I dropped 10 lbs in 1 week doing otbing different than not taking that crap.

I had the bar in my arm for about a year. It was terrible. Not only does it bruise/bleed terribly putting it in & taking it out but I have permanent scares from it. I gained over 40 pounds from it & it gave me crazy migraines & mood swings. I had a complete 360 when I got it taken out. Besides the weight. Always had a small figure until I got that stupid birth control & now, 3 years later i still can't get the weight off. @kparis the pill sucks to remember but it really doesn't have all the other shitty side effects. I hope you find one that works for you!

I'm going to stick to condoms ^^^^ 😭all other birth controls seem awful!
